A single-vehicle crash on Wednesday, June 18th, left two people dead and another critically injured.
The accident, occurred in the westbound lane of Hwy. 64, near London Mill and Hwy. 68. The accident was reported around 9:30 pm.
David Hall, 20, of Blue Ridge and Kristen Bray, 15, of Ducktown were both dead when paramedics arrived. Eric Dillard, the third occupant of the car, was immediately transported to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. On Tuesday morning, Erlanger Hospital officials reported that Dillard had been discharged.
Officials on the scene of the accident said it looked as if the driver of the pickup truck had lost control, and when the vehicle rolled over, all three occupants were thrown from the car.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol refused to comment on the accident, saying that an investigation is ongoing, and more information will be available at a later date.
