The IRS has placed a tax lien on Copper Basin Community Hospital, Inc for nearly $300,000 in payroll taxes. According to the lien filed with the Register of Deeds Nov. 5, payroll taxes for the periods ending Dec. 31, 2006, March 31, 2008 and June 30, 2008 have not been paid. The total due, including interest and penalty, is $291,944.53. “Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes, and additional penalties, interests and costs that may accrue.”
